Meet your Captains-

Aboard the “Kimmy Jo” Captain Mike has over 35 years of safe boating experience including running recreational and emergency rescue boats. Growing up along the banks of the Willamette River just south of Harrisburg. Captain Mike has spent many years hunting and fishing along its banks.

Captain Leo grew up just a few blocks from the Willamette River in downtown Harrisburg, where he still resides today. His knowledge and love of the river and the local history and wildlife will spark some personalized commentary.

Regardless of which of these lifelong friends is your Captain for the day, look forward to hearing local history and narratives about crops and wildlife, along with a few local stories, some true and some not so true.

The “Kimmy Jo” has a full top and heater. Your captain will do his best to make your ride fun and comfortable. During the colder weather and if there is a chance of rain, expect the top to be on as our captains do their best to keep you warm and dry. During warmer weather, the top will be down so you can enjoy the sunshine.

We carry life jackets for everyone but only require them on our younger sightseeing friends age 12 and under as required by law. USCG requires us to carry a type 1 for everyone on board but we do have several of the more comfortable type 3 as well.

During warmer weather bring suntan lotion and your swimsuit. We don’t claim to be fishing guides but if you have a license, chances are there may be a ripple that you can hook up a nice Willamette rainbow with your pole or ours!
